THME was established in 2014 with an aim to promote local tourism and expand the experiences of motorcycle
ride culture in Nepal focused on safe riding and building camaraderie among the motorcycle enthusiasts from
across the country. THME rides showcase the breathtaking landscapes and scenic routes that our country has to
offer.
THME has been organizing various rides across Nepal. We also operate a Royal Enfield motorcycle service center
located at Bagdole, Lalitpur. The club has members ranging from age group of 20s to 50s.
Mango Ride
Besides organizing various rides all over Nepal, our annual “Mango Ride” is THME’s signature ride organized
during the mango season to promote Nepali mangoes. It started in 2015 with 5 Royal Enfield Riders and by the
6 th edition in 2023, we were able to attract 53 participants. The main attraction of the ride is to visit a mango
orchard in Saptari using various routes to reach or return to Kathmandu. The participants get the chance to
interact with the local mango farmers directly, enjoy their produce fresh from the orchard and purchase local
mangos. The local farmers appreciate this gesture and feel encouraged by recognition of their contribution to
mango farming in Nepal.
THME Mango Ride has been able to surpass the general notion of avoiding travel to Nepal’s plains during harsh
summer with its unique experience and gaining popularity as an annual event for Royal Enfield enthusiasts.
